Travel Snapshot – Wat Chalong, the Buddhist Temple

No travel story to tell today. I’m still busy tidying up my travel blog. So I uploaded this photo as my travel snapshot of the day. It shows a Buddhist temple in Phuket. Local people called Buddhist temple as Wat. Among the total of 29 Wat’s, it is the most popular and important Buddhist temple in Phuket Island. It’s Wat Chalong. It was first established some 200 years ago and is a ‘must-go‘ travel destination (if you’re not a buddhist and is your first time to visit to Phuket) other than Phi-Phi island.

This photo was taken with my Nikon D60 and Nikkor 18-55mm kit lens at noon with overcast weather. Sunlight was dull and the temple was slightly backlit. To capture as much as sky and highlight details, I dialled the Exposure Compensation to -0.33EV. To bring back the shadow details, I used Photoshop to boost the exposure up slightly and adjust its level. Here is the result. I like it, do you? – Travel Feeder
