Now the longest operating oceanarium in the US, this particular attraction has an array of entertaining and amusing killer whale, sea lion and dolphin shows. After a morning of astonishment and wonderment, some rest and relaxation might be required. Therefore, head down to Crandon Park for a bit of lunchtime leisure in the sun. Cool off in the serene sea, kick back under one of the shady palm trees and refuel for the afternoon by cooking some food using the barbecue facilities and picnic areas.
Take a visit to Miami Children’s museum
Despite the fact your kids might not appreciate being taken to a museum on vacation, this is by no means a boring or tedious attraction. The Miami Children’s museum is a highly interactive children’s playground, which even adults will enjoy. Especially when routine tasks such as grocery shopping and depositing cheques are transformed into thoroughly amusing activities.
Finish off the day with some ice cream
After a busy day of exploration and discovery, your little ones are sure to be exhausted. However, it will be difficult to say no to the sweet treats on offer at Jaxon’s Ice Cream Parlour. This establishment dates back 50 years and specialises in serving up kids’ deserts. Just make sure your children brush their teeth before bedtime.
