In Netherland where tulips flowers always associated to and is also the biggest flowers exporters in the world, public can come to visit the Keukenhof Tulips Garden for tulips display during the tulips festival held between 18/3 until 16/5 every year. Soaking in the large tulips field would be an unique and refreshing experience to visitors.

Keukenhof Garden

Keukenhof or ‘kitchen garden‘ in Dutch. Keukenhof is located in an area called the “Dune and Bulb Region” in some 35KM south of Netherland in the small town of Lisse, southwest of Amsterdam. It is reachable within an hour by bus from the train stations of Amsterdam central. The garden was established in 1949 as a display garden for tulips exporters to showcase different hybrids of tulips and it has been one of the Amsterdam attractions since then. Each year, travelers visiting Amsterdam would defintely drop by this garden. There are endless photographing opportunities there also! 🙂

What I would recommend to travelers worldwide who wish to visit this seasonal fantasia is to stay in one of the hotel in Amsterdam city centre and engage a day trip for around 35EUR to spend at least half day in Keukenhof and take many many photos in there. I’m so excited to tell you this. I’m so lucky! I’ll be in Europe this May. So, making a trip there is a must for me! I’ve adjusted my Europe tour planning to squeeze it into my Europe tour itinerary. Oh my! I have to cut a day off my Paris stay to accommodate this special visit to Keukenhof Tulips Garden but… it’s my pleasure to do so. – Travel Feeder.
