“Bali,” the mere mention of the name conjures up images of paradise and exotic experiences. Bali is indeed, paradise found. It is one among the 17,000 islands of Indonesia, located east of Java and west of Lombok. There are some 282 bird species in Bali, and around fourteen percent of the island is designated as a National Park. The West Bali National Park showcases the island’s interesting mammals, such as the muntjak, banteng, chevrotain, pangolin, cuscus, slow loris, and so many more primates, wild cats and birds. The water around Bali is a haven for marine turtles, dolphins and the dugong.

In all of Indonesia, Bali receives the most number of tourists annually. There are so many wonderful tourist destinations in Bali, which highlight and showcase the islands diversely rich culture. Bali is also an architectural marvel where the native structures are interspersed with modern, yet Balinese- inspired hotels.
