Travel Snapshot – Maya Bay (The Beach), Phi-Phi Islands
While I’m still organising all my 1027 photos taken on my recent Phuket Island trip, I just can’t wait to show you one of my snapshot here at the Maya Bay of Ko Phi-Phi Leh or Phi-Phi Leh Island. ‘Ko’ means island in Thai language (เกาะ). A day trip to Phi-Phi Islands is one activity that you can’t miss whenever you travel to Phuket Island of Thailand. Phi-Phi Leh and Phi-Phi Don are 2 major islands there.
This panorama photo is stitched from 3 snapshots of Maya Bay coastline pointing to 3 different angle in order to cover the whole view of the beach. I’ve reduced its size to suit the width of this blog. Click the photo to have a larger and better view of it.
Having perfectly white fine sand and clear turquoise sea water, Maya Bay is the backdrop of Leonardo DiCaprio’s year 2000 movie, ‘The Beach’, if you still can remember. Sorry, I’ve seen the movie but can’t remember the scene… think I have to look for the DVD again in video shop 🙂 – Travel Feeder.
I am going to Phuket next month. I will not be going to Phi Phi Island. But instead will visit James Bond island.
