Travel by photos – Cingjing Farm in Taiwan

Good day to you and good day to me. Having just back from my holiday trip to Taiwan, today is definitely a great start for me! Feeling refreshed and excited by 2 reasons. First, off course, with the thrilling trip to Taiwan, I have added another 1,800 amazing travel photos to my collection! Secondly, during my vacation to Taiwan, this travel photo blog had quietly received a remarkable Google PR ranking of 4! A great kudos for all my efforts put in. Hooray! OK. Let’s get started. The first attraction I’m sharing here, of all things, is a highland farm called Cingjing Farm in Taiwan.

Located in the middle of native forests and surrounded by mountain ranges, Cingjing Farm  in Taiwan is a popular getaway destination among Taiwanese as well as foreigners. Sitting on top of a highland, you can immerse yourself in the fresh air and enjoy the scenic wild greenery 360° view from the farm. The Cingjing Farm is situated at the Renai Township of Nantou County, 8 km north of Wushe Section, Tai 14A Route of Central Cross-Island Highway in Central Taiwan.

Rising up 1,750 meters from the sea level, the weather there is generally mild all year round. In the months from May to September, the temperatures averages between 15℃ and 23℃. Thanks to the moderate weather, the Cingjing Farm produces various kinds of fruits all year round including peaches, pears, plums, and kiwi fruit.

I love the mountain view trail the most. The huge windmill with colourful cladding best for photography, is definitely the iconic structure of the farm.

There are separate sections in the farm where you can take your own sweet time to stroll around. Green-Green-Grassland is the key section where you can enjoy lush greenery, exhilarating mountain views and experience the sheep feeding as well as shepherd show. Next to it is the Shoushan Park, and a Stock Nurturing Center.

There are other attractions within the Farm that worth a visit. First there is the main Tourist Center where you can have a cup of coffee at the highest Starbucks in Taiwan. Next stop would be the Small Swiss Garden, with fountain light performance at night and flowery garden. Beside the garden is the Recreation Center for visitors, with shops, cafes and 7-eleven.
