A lot of people asked so here I answered. We see many fresh graduates picking up their backpacks and go traveling about Europe just after their graduation. Why are they doing so, and what is good about traveling after graduation in Europe, especially UK? I’ve done it before so I think I can give you the answer. It is absolutely true. Most European countries offer the biggest discounts on transportation fares, accommodation, entrance fees or even foods and groceries to students whose student cards are still valid. So students who are still possessing students ID after graduation can benefit from this privilege. Student discounts can go up to 50% or more. Above all, you will not get this offer again in the rest of your life. I have personally benefited from this when I did my trip to Europe after my graduation in London and it cost me less than half of what I spent a couple of years ago, for even longer period!

The happiest trip you can have

What could be more happier than grouping up your class or room mates in colleges or universities to backpack around Europe? Backpacking with like-minded friends is the most enjoyable way to travel. With no commitment yet in terms of employment, home or car mortgage, or relationship, you are truly free to enjoy your travel after graduation. Imagine how we enjoyed pub hopping in Barcelona until midnight, cooked ourselves a terrible but enjoyable dinner in B&B, freaked out by pimps in the middle of red light district in Amsterdam, or sitting on the beach just to see people, everyone turned out to be a happy traveler at the end.

Only budget is your limit, and it can be overcome by working part time for a short period before hitting the road.

Since you have just graduated, you are open to anything for your future. You have the opportunity to open your eyes to see the world before making decision to your way of life. Likewise, being so fresh in real world, traveling Europe at this stage grant you an invaluable experience in various ad hoc situation in unfamiliar environment so not to be freaked out in future.
