My Japan travel – Brief 2 day report in Osaka

After checking out from our hotel in Kawaguchiko and bid farewell to Mt. Fuji, we hit back the road to continue our journey to re-visit Osaka, the second time in 6 months. This time of year, we wished to check out how the 3rd largest city of Japan looks in later Autumn. Yes. In this time of year, it is already late Autumn or early Winter in Osaka, with much more chilly weather than a week ago when we first arrived in Japan.

The journey from Mt. Fuji to Osaka was never easy. We had to take a bus from Kawaguchiko to Gotemba, and transferred to JR local train to Numazu then Mishima. From Mishima we were cathcing the Tokaido Shinkanshen to Osaka via Kyoto. The whole journey took us 5 hours! We still stayed in Namba area this time round as we had a fantastic time here during last Spring, especially the mouth watering local foods and full varieties of shopping chains.

Destinations we visited were limited as we had only 2 days in osaka and chilly weather with early sunset at 4:30pm made exploring outdoor a challenge. One of the tourist attractions we visited was Osaka castle and Osaka Park. We missed it during our last trip to Osaka so it was a fulfillment.

Other than that, we spent much of our time doing shopping and eating in Namba district. This downtown area of Osaka is always full of lives both at night and during daytime. Local people as well as tourists are wandering roads around areas such as Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi. The iconic giant neon signage of Dotonbori was as vibrant as  before.

We bought too many stuffs and tried too much foods in Osaka and this wraps up my short trip to Osaka. On the next early morning, we said Sayonara to Japan! This is not the end of the story. More photos and stories of my Japan travel are coming up next. Just keep watching! 🙂  – Travel Feeder, the ultimate travel photo blog.
