Travel photo of the day – Casa Mila, Barcelona
Casa Mila, an UNESCO heritage building in Barcelona, was designed by the creative Catalan local Architect, the late Antoni Gaudi in 1900. It is located along Passeig de Gràcia shopping avenue in the city centre of Barcelona and is one of the many attractions you can’t miss to see for yourself in Barcelona.
The controversial architecture design which is totally different from conventional building designs has won it an UNESCO Heritage Site in 1984. After more than 100 years the construction was first completed, it is still one of the most creative building design in the world now.
Casa Mila, Casa Batllo, Park Guell and Sagrada Familia are 4 of the best creations of Antoni Gaudi that attracted me to visit Barcelona, the capital city of Spain, 2 years ago. If you love Architecture and the creation of Gaudi, visit no other places except Barcelona. Gaudi is my favourite architect! But more than Casa Milà I love Casa Battlo and Park Guell!
