Photo of Torii Gates in Fushimi Inari Shrine Koyoto
An amazing scene found in Fushimi Inari Shrine of Kyoto, Japan, where thousands of torii gates are lining up to form a mountain trail for devotees. There are numbers of these trails at the back of the Shrine which will lead visitors to different sections of the mountain.
I took this photo when looked back and realised that erection dates and sponsors’ names are carved into back of each torii gate. This is unbelievable to me as those torii gates were not built at the same time but gradually extended in many many years to make up what we will see today, and they are still extending!
Whenever I looked at photos that I took in Japan last year, they kept reminding me of how wonderful my travel to Japan was and urged me to share more photos taken in Japan. Start planning your Japan travel today! – Travel Feeder
