Travel snapshot – Dusking sky of Seoul
I love sunset. If you know me well or have followed this travel photo blog since the beginning, you must have learnt that I love to photograph sunsets wherever I travel to. No exception for Korea. For the metropolitan city of Seoul, I had to climb up to the top of Namsan mountain, where the highest N-Seoul Tower is located, in order to capture the sunset scene in Seoul city skyline. With a silhouette of a telecommunication tower being the foreground, the dusking sky of Seoul appeared to be nothing short of amazing!
Besides this awesome scene of sunset, Namsan mountain is also the popular site for young couples with love locks all over the deck railing. You should know what I mean if you have watched the popular Korean Drama “My Love From the Star” recently. 🙂
Coming up in my next story about Korea is the top 10 places to visit in Korea.
Before then, why not catching up some my earlier stories about my Busan and Seoul travel on my Korea guide? – Travel Feeder
These are some of the EXIF data of the photo:
This dusking sky of seoul image was captured with Nikon D7000 and Nikkor 18-105mm zoom lens attached. Photographed in Program Auto mode, with Shutter speed 1/60 sec. Aperture f3.5. Focus distance was set to 18mm. Auto ISO 180. Manual White Balance set to Cloudy. No flash fired and No Exposure Value being compensated with Matrix metering.
You always have the best photos. Do you go to Sky Park in Seoul very often? I never watched the sunset from one of the parks over there by the world cup stadium, but I bet it would make for a romantic experience.
