Travel snapshot – Sunrise at Redang Beach Malaysia

The short school break is just over. It was this short getaway trip to Redang Island Beach that had me took a nice shot on sunrise. I couldn’t remember when was my last time sitting on a beach in early morning to snap sunrise photos. I meant on the beach. I’m not living on the beach, nor traveled to any beach side facing east for a long time. The closest was in Taiwan, but it was on hill. Anyway, I liked it and would love you to see it here, the sunrise at Redang.

Captured with Nikon D7000 and Nikkor 10-24mm ultra wide angle lens attached. Photographed in Program Auto mode, with Shutter speed 1/200 sec. Aperture f7.1. Focus distance was set to 24mm. Auto ISO 100. Auto White Balance. No flash fired and No exposure value being compensated with Matrix metering. Post processed with Photoshop Elements 8.0 and cropped at the centre.

It was quite a surprise to find out that Laguna Redang Beach Resort still offers great value with memorable experience in sea activities such as snorkeling and scuba diving, with serene, clean and comfortable environment, since Summer Holiday (夏日的麼麼茶) film shot here in year 2000.
