Follow my itchy travel feet to Korea!
Stay tuned various travelers. The next chapter begins! I’m flying off today for another to-be exciting self-guided tour to Korea! This is my first time visiting South Korea despite all the K-Pop fanatics happening around me and over the air in YouTube and the like. I’m not really craving for either PSY or Kimchi, but I do love to see how far I could grow my interest in these two on their home land.
I’m keeping more or less my preliminary drafted itinerary for the trip without substantial changes. I’ve booked domestic flights from Busan to Jeju then Jeju back to Seoul. I’m not getting Korail Pass to cover my train travels in Korea since I’m not going to travel extensively on trains. Instead, I will get a T-Money reload card when I arrive at the Incheon Airport and top it up for my about-city travel in Seoul, Busan and Jeju, by mainly either subways or buses.
After all, it’s going to be an interesting trip for me after my Japan travel 6 months ago. I would love to see if Korea could beat Japan to become my best travel destination next. The only concern I have is certainly the ambiguous situation of the Explicit tension in between North and South of the peninsula.
