My Travel Photo in Berlin – The Deadly Kiss

I’m back from my Europe travel MkII! I had a bit of jet lag which is why I’m still writing this post in the middle of the night. 🙂 Too many photos have been taken, here is one of them that I shot in Berlin, the infamous painting on the longest remaining stretch of Berlin Wall and at the east side of the wall, titled as “God, help me to survive this deadly love”.

Originally drawn by Russian artist Dmitri Vrubel, this painting is reflecting the historical kiss performed by Soviet leader, Leonid Brezhnev, and Eat German Leader at that time in the 70’s, Erich Honecker.

Berlin Wall was being demolished in November, 1989 and it marked the end of communism era in East Germany and the start of an united country of Germany as we know today. Interesting mural, isn’t it? – Travel Feeder, your ultimate photo travel blog
