Travel video podcast – Funny street performance at La Rambla, Barcelona
La Rambla street at the centre of Barcelona is the “must-visit” place whenever you visit Barcelona. Stretching 1.2km long, La Rambla is actually a pedestrian shopping street with various shops, boutiques, restaurants and hotels lining along its both sides. At night, it turns into the centre stage for many street performers to dancing, acrobatic, magic, and other performances with the hope of earning some appreciation money from tourists.
I managed to record one of the most funniest performance happened on the night we strolled down the La Rambla street. This guy was acting like a baby reacting cutely to things happened around him and taking a mickey out of tourists who approached him for a photo shot.
Very funny isn’t it? Actually something happened at the end of podcast. If you noticed that, a local woman was screaming being robbed not far beside us and alerted the street actor to stop his performance and chase after the robber! It all happened in a split of a second and what we could do were just standing and watching. Apparently they knew each other and the robber could be her husband or boyfriend! What an experience! The street performer came back shortly and continued his baby trick show.
There were some other street performances on the La Rambla street at night. Turning from a shopping paradise at day into a night life paradise at night, La Rambla is truly a 5-star tourist destination in Barcelona. Even better, it connects the Plaza Catalunya to MareMagnum entertainment hub at Port Vell, and the very good Tapas restaurant of Elisabets is just behind the street. 🙂 - Travel Feeder, your ultimate travel photo guide to Europe.
