My Travel Photo – Gaudi symbolic Mosaic Creation
No Barcelona tour would complete without seeing some of the Antoni Gaudi’s creation. Who is Antoni Gaudi? If you have seen the image of Casa Batlló before, then you should know what this Architect is famous for. Antoni Gaudi (1852-1926) is well known for his awkward design in buildings. In Barcelona, or perhaps the world, you will not be able to find any other buildings with such an unique and oddly enough design. Currently, all his design and creation have been preserved as heritage site and have become a symbol in Barcelona and Spain.
Some EXIF info: Photo taken with my Nikon D7000 and Nikkor 18-105mm lens. Shutter speed 1/500sec and Aperture f5.6. Focus distance was set to 19mm. ISO 100. Auto White Balance. No flash fired and no exposure being compensated with Matrix metering.
The above photo image is another remarkable creation of Gaudi. The wooden window of one of the museums in Parc Guell recreation park, Barcelona, is framed with colourful circles made by broken mosaic wastes. With great helps from Barcelona beautiful sunlight, striking colours of the mosaic tiles are very well captured. With a bit of leveling and contrast adjustment with PS, here you get another travel photo of Barcelona. 🙂 – Travel Feeder, your ultimate photo travel blog
