Travel Snapshot – Bicycles and the Xian City Wall
What makes travel photography so challenging and exciting is the ever changing weather and conditions due to different timing. The exact same and bored tourist spots could still look distinctive and unique in the eyes of individual photographers that worth them a snap when the particular scenes meet some otherwise bad weather condition. This snapshot of Bicycles and the Xian City Wall could be a perfect example.
Bicycles and the Xian City Wall are virtually indistinguishable where bikes are the most popular means of transport to wander around the 13.5 KM wall. That said, you won’t normally be able to see them all at one spot to snap them lining up nicely along the wall unless during a rainy day, or, being paid for a commercial shooting.
With a bad weather we encountered on our visit, I got this condolence prize to have them both getting together. Opportunity comes and go, I had my camera snapped and saved forever.
Xian of China is one of my recent favourite travel destinations thanks to Airasia where it serves direct flight cheaply to Xian since last year. If you are planning a trip to Xian as well, make sure to find out my choice of Top 10 places to visit in Xian and Luoyang.
The home of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses (秦始皇兵马俑), what attracts me most of Xian and Luoyang is not only the countless attractions you could visit, the mouth watering local foods you could try, but also the most friendly people you could meet in China. Check them out personally and you would agree. Otherwise, share with me more of your bad experience there. 🙂 – Travel Feeder
