Lamington National Park
Want to get back to nature? Roughly an hour’s drive from Surfers Paradise is Lamington National Park. This World Heritage-listed park is praised for its beautiful rainforest scenery, majestic waterfalls, and fascinating wildlife.
If you happen to be an avid bird watcher, you can spot almost 200 types of birds, from colourful parrots to other elusive species, like the Bowerbird.
