New Responsive Theme and New Look to Travel Feeder
New Year is approaching. I’ve just updated this travel blog with a brand new look. After using the Vienna theme for 5 months, I decided to change my blog’s theme. I adopted the new Glamour WordPress Theme by MyThemeShop, a new responsive theme to further enhance my travel blog appearances and reading experience on various platforms. If you are too carried away with this new look and have already forgotten how it was previously, here is the snapshot of the old look of Travel Feeder blog design:
At a glance, you may not find significant differences between them, which is why you couldn’t remember how it looked before this. Some may still prefer the previous design in terms of clean layout and the extra carousel at the top featuring latest travel highlight bar. However, if you break it down to Html coding, they are worlds apart.
The new responsive theme from MyThemeShop is a full responsive theme design which resizes the layout to suit perfectly to all screen sizes of your display. Unlike my previous theme Vienna, which limited to only 3 different sizes for PC, tablet and smart phone, Glamour theme for WordPress can adjust by its own to fit all displays resolution!
On top of that, the new responsive theme is SEO optimized! It makes my blog loads faster and more friendly to search engines. It is significantly more advance in HTML coding if compared to my previous theme, which gave me headaches in overcoming Java script coding errors when being reported by Google Webmaster Tool.
Above all, Glamour theme for WordPress is giving me less hassle in optimizing my blog design, hence freeing me up for more blogging travel!
What gone are the carousel on top and the latest travel highlight bar, second menu on top (which I did’t use).
What added in are the extra column featuring highlighted posts on homepage and related posts on single pages, floating social media sharing buttons, fully responsive, SEO optimized.
At the time of writing this post, I’m still in the midst of fine tuning every aspect of my blog design with Glamour new responsive theme. By hook or by crook, my travel photo blog, Travel Feeder, will be getting better and better.
