Finally a brand new blog design for Travel Feeder
I have to wait for 5 years to come to this decision. Yes. In conjunction with the 5th anniversary of Travel Feeder, I finally decided to have a total revamp to this travel blog. It’s not a facelift, fine tune, adjustment or anything. It’s a complete overhaul and redesign of the blog! I think this is the most tedious work and hard decision to make for fellow bloggers especially for a 5 years blog with 1000 blog posts written and published!
Still remember my old blog design as seen above that hold on its place for the past five years? I needed to put it up to my drawing board again to assess its functionality and shortcoming, then I had to look for a much advanced and latest blog theme file to start with. A lot of research, trial and error had been done and finally I bought this premium blog theme design by Welltheme with more refined and advanced features as you can see them now. Finally, what you are seeing here is my revamped blog face with completely new layout and advanced functionality! Absolutely briliant! You can now easily browse through the latest stories in various categories all from my homepage which features a main slider, a secondary top carousel as well as separate category sections and blocks.
One of the exciting news to me is off course now I can insert much bigger, sharper and attractive photos in my posts as you can see above! This is something that I’ve been hoping for since 5 years ago!
Also, Travel Feeder is now fully responsive to the screen resolution of the device it is being viewed on. My travel blog will be equally usable and good-looking whether it is being viewed on large monitors, laptops, tablet devices, and smartphones. Hooray!
Off course, a lot of tidying works have been silently done since a few months ago, mainly to clear up all hidden ‘Broken links” and missing meta title and post descriptions that had been slowly built up since 5 years ago and finally I have a clean blog now, from inside out!
I still have works to complete. Since my blog is now featuring thumbnail images for each post, I will need to insert featured image to all my previous 100o posts! 🙂 After all, I’m fully satisfied with the smooth transition process between the old and new blog design. I can now concentrate fully to my story sharing without worrying other issues.
Hope you like it! What do you think of my new blog design? 🙂 – Travel Feeder
