My travel blog is under attack by malware!!
I’m writing this before this blog is being blocked from accessing by my Norton security firewall! Perhaps this would be my last post to be published on Travel Feeder. Why? My site is being hacked!! Some kind of Malware, or Malicious software, whatever you call it, have hacked through my security firewall and inserted certain code into all my PHP files of this blog!
I’m calling them as ‘Thieves’! What this code is doing in my site? It redirects all links of Travel Feeder appeared in Google search results to another spam sites! SO they are actually stealing my Page Rank!! Any readers are being redirected to another site which made my blog acts like a spam site redirecting search results to other spam sites! 🙁
I’m trying to clean up these strange codes in all my PHP files of this blog manually these few days. Maybe due to these same secret codes, my blog is now running not quite as smooth and some site features and appearances seem not acting correctly! I’m trying to fix it now so just bear with me at the moment if you can’t see the slide show of my featured posts on top portion and my Wish list page is not loading correctly!
All in all, my site is still 100% safe to surf! It has been proved by Site Lock security certificate shown at the bottom of my side bar. So, don’t worry when you are reading this post and the word malware.
I’m still fixing it…. Have you experienced this funny activities before in your blog? Any idea how could we clean up all these code easily instead of doing it one by one manually over all those PHP file in my blog? What would be the best solution on this illegal redirect activities? HELP ME! 🙁 – Travel Feeder
