Travel Snapshot- Pantai Redang beach of Sekinchan, Selangor
While muslims are celebrating Hari Raya, the biggest festival in their calendar year, other Malaysian would take the opportunity of this long golden week holidays to plan for a getaway trip to either local or foreign holiday destination. I did not plan any particular trip in advance but did spend a short day trip to one of the popular spot in Selangor, the fishing and rice growing village of Sekinchan.
Besides the many activities one could do in Sekinchan, including eating fresh seafoods, wandering in the padi field and fruit farms, I did also pop by Pantai Redang (Redang Beach), a hidden little beach not far away from the bunch of seafood restaurants that dotted along the famous fishing boat jetties. Recently it got its popularity escalated by the Hong Kong TVB drama called “Outbound Love” that starred by Ruco Chan, Aimee Chan, Tony Hung, and Lin Xia We.
This travel snapshot shows the iconic tree house and the big banner reading “I love Sekinchan” in Chinese. Pantai Redang beach of Sekinchan is a famous hangout place for the locals people, especially in the evening when the sunset paints the sky with magnificent colours.
